Now I have a light and I can see where I am going. I can see a future. I feel like a woman. I felt like I was inside a cage. Now the cage is open and I see the light. – Mercy, Permaculture Explorers 2020 graduate

Our current fundraising initiative is aimed at supporting our learning programs, being Permaculture Explorers:  Above the Line;  teaching women how to grow fresh, healthy food in harmony with nature, and to generate additional income for their families to raise them above the extreme poverty line, and Sekwanele : Enough is Enough! self defence classes for women and girls. Funds raised also go to buying gym equipment, and trees, plants, compost and all that is needed to raise the food forest at The Centre for Women’s Independence.
