Now I have a light and I can see where I am going. I can see a future. I feel like a woman. I felt like I was inside a cage. Now the cage is open and I see the light. – Mercy, Permaculture Explorers 2020 graduate

to our 10 Trees Crowdfunding Campaign!
Zingela Ulwazi is delighted to partner with Project Biome to launch this Crowdfunding Campaign for our high impact 10 Trees program. We are gathering resources to support the 1,700+ trees that the citizens of Orpen Gate Village planted last year, with the objective to create a village-wide food and medicine forest. This is alleviating hunger, isolation, bringing much needed nutritional diversity, biodiversity, increased soil fertility, improved communication and collaboration and climate adaptation strategies, in short, transforming a village to a place of regeneration and abundance.
Beneficiaries of 10 Trees spend a year in learning programs focussing on permaculture, advocacy, enterprise development and stress management techniques, followed by ongoing mentoring and classes. This Crowdfunding Campaign will help us launch Phase 2, by adding 60 households to the program, moving us from 12.5% to 18% of the village, and bringing us closer to the tipping point of 25%.Help
